Didn't Get Enough Likes On TikTok, 18 Year Old Hangs Himself

An 18-year-old boy was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his home in Sector 110’s Salarpur area, Noida, Uttar Pradesh on Thursday.

A weird case was encountered in Noida (Uttar Pradesh) where an 18-year-old boy devoted suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan. The police official said that the 18-year-old boy was unhappy from the past few days over not getting a good amount of likes on his hugely popular Chinese video-making app TikTok.

The 18-year-old boy hung himself on Thursday, a day after he uploaded 2 videos on TikTok.

The circumstances took place in Noida’s Sector 110’s Salarpur area where the 18-year-old boy lived with his family. The Noida police immediately swung into action on receiving the information. The Noida police broke open the door to find the 18-year-old boy hanging from the ceiling fan. The Police carried the body down & have sent the body for post mortem.

During the inquiry about the 18-year-old boy’s suicide, the Noida police found out that the boy was very unhappy as he was unable to get a good amount of likes on his TikTok videos and with every passing of day he was getting upset. Even the local resident of Noida’s Sector 110’s Salarpur area said that the 18-year-old boy was in depression.

The Noida Police didn’t found any suicide note in the youth room. During the primary investigation, the police felt that the boy has done suicide due to some unusual reason. However, the police are still investigating the suicide case from different angles. The investigation is under process.

Earlier a 10th class student committed suicide in Agra due to family disputes. In her suicide note, she incriminated her alcohol junkie father of domestic violence with her mother and other two siblings.
