Encounter Of Vikas Dubey, Circumstances Of His Encounter Suspicious

On Friday, Vikas Dubey, the gangster’s encounter by the police has been eyed with suspicion. The media people following Dubey from Madhya Pradesh to UP’s Kanpur after Vikas surrendered himself, suddenly blocked by the police a few minutes before the encounter. The sudden barring of medias movement raised suspicious questions.

Before the encounter of Vikas Dubey, two of his aides Atul Dubey and Prem Prakash Pandey were killed by the police. They were the first after the encounter to be killed. However, what led to their killing is not known clearly yet.

Like Vikas, Amar was too encountered in the morning by the STF with the help of local police. Amar was Vikas’s bodyguard and his nephew too. In both cases, some policemen also got injured. Hamirpur Superintendent of Police Shlok Kumar told PTI, “Acting on a tip-off, a team of STF and local police surrounded Amar and he was injured in the firing and died during treatment in the hospital.”

Similar Encounter Happened To Vikas Dubey’s Aides

Another encountered happened was of Praveen Dubey. He too was killed in the early morning by the UP police in Etawah. The factors leading to his death suggest a mysterious coincidence.

Etawah senior superintendent of police Akash Tomar told NDTV, “Around 3 am, a Swift Dzire was looted by four armed men on a Scorpio. They were stopped about an hour later by cops when they tried to escape. The police chased them and an unidentified man suffered multiple injuries in the crossfire. He was declared brought dead at the hospital.”

Later he was identified as Praveen Dubey, the wanted criminal.

Another early encounter was of Prabhat Mishra, a gang member who got killed by the police on July 9. His encounter details are very much similar to Vikas Dubey’s encounter.

The vehicle carrying Vikas Dubey met an accident following which Vikas tried to flee after snatching a policeman’s pistol. The Mishra’s encounter also included the snatching of a pistol from the policeman and resulting in the deaths of policemen.

In the Vikas Dubey encounter too, Police said three of the personnel were injured while bullets brushed by two of them. R.B. Kamal, the principal of the LLR Hospital, Kanpur, where the injured policemen were admitted, told reporters that the condition of all of them is stable.

Dr Kamal said Vikas had three bullet injuries on the chest and one on his arm.
