Shikha Malhotra said she decided to serve COVID-19 infected people after she heard Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech about the 21-day lockdown.

Shikha Malhotra said, “When I heard Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address to the nation about the 21-day lockdown, I couldn’t sit at home. As someone with a medical history, I realized the condition was too serious. I started having a look at different hospitals in Mumbai from the very next day until I found a govt. hospital. I was conducted with the medical supervisor, who then attached me to the isolation ward for coronavirus outbreak as they were in need of staff.
