In an alleviation for people, the central government has granted the movement of those facing an emergency during the lockdown2.0 abid coronavirus outbreak.
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) published detailed instructions on the second phase of lockdown 2.0, a day after PM Modi declared an extension of the nationwide lockdown to tackle the spread of COVID-19.
The central government said On the movement of people during the lockdown that those dealing with an emergency will be granted to step out of their homes. The emergency condition can be veterinary care & acquiring necessary commodities.

The central government also added that people will only be granted to move when they surely follow social distancing.
The central government said in its guidelines that one rider besides the private vehicle driver can be allowed in the backseat, in case of four-wheelers. But in the case of two-wheelers, only the driver of the vehicle is to be allowed.
The government guidelines add all people traveling to the place of work & back in the exempted categories will also be allowed to move.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday in his televised address to the nation declared that the nation-wide lockdown has been continued to May 3 to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in India. PM Modi also said that certain necessary activities will be allowed from April 20 after an appraisal of each region.
IMPORTANT GUIDELINES ISSUED BY GOVT
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has made slobbering in public a punishable offense & sanctioned a strict ban on the sale of liquor, gutka, and tobacco.
The central government guidelines add however Inter-state, inter-district movement of people, metro, bus services will be restricted till May 3. But the functioning of industrial units located in rural areas is allowed from April 20 by keening strict social distancing norms.
All the educational institutions, coaching centers, airports, train services will also remain closed till May 3. Cinema halls, malls, gym, swimming pools, bars will also be suspended till May 3. All the Highway dhabas, truck repairing shops will remain open from April 20.
From April 20, the various activities will are permitted include agricultural activities, procurement of agri products, mandis, etc.
Government guidelines have made necessary to wear masks in all the public places across the country.
