Man Hangs Himself In His Autorickshaw In Mumbai

An autorickshaw driver committed suicide by hanging himself inside his autorickshaw in Mumbai. The body of the autorickshaw driver, identified as 47-year-old Dayashankar A Soni, was found near the BMC Colony in Goregaon East on Friday. As per the eyewitnesses, the body of Dayashankar A Soni was found in a seated position with a rope around neck tied to the rod on autorickshaw’s roof near the BMC Colony.

According to Senior Police Inspector D. Kamble of Dindoshi Police Station, Malad East, the body of the autorickshaw driver was found on Friday near the BMC Colony in Goregaon east.

According to the Police officials, the eyewitnesses told that the body of 47-year-old Dayashankar A Soni, autorickshaw driver, was found in a seated position with a rope around neck tied to the rod on autorickshaw’s roof near the BMC Colony in Goregaon East on Friday. The eyewitnesses informed the Dindoshi Police Station, Malad East immediately. Senior Police Inspector D. Kamble reach there are starting investing the case of death of autorickshaw driver.

As per the statement of autorickshaw driver wife, Dayashankar A Soni was an alcoholic & suffered back and knee problems due to which he was in a depression from the last few months.

Autorickshaw driver Dayashankar A Soni’s wife added that she did not suspect or blame anybody for her husband’s suicide, she thinks that her husband has done suicide due to depression.

Senior Police Inspector D. Kamble of Dindoshi Police Station, Malad East, informed to the news reporter that the autorickshaw driver Dayashankar A Soni’s body has been sent for autopsy to Siddharth Hospital in Goregaon & further investigations is ongoing.
