OnePlus 8 Series: Breaks 13 Records, Gets A+ Display Rating, 5G Phone, Price Revealed

OnePlus has been very vocal about its OnePlus 8 series phones. It announced the launch date, and since then, every evening, it arrives on social media to hint at certain features on the phone. Based on the social media, ‘OnePlus’ CEO Pete Lau, has so far told us that he is going to launch his phone on April 14, they will be called OnePlus 8 series and it will come with Snapdragon 865 chip. Today, it is another day, and there is much to add.

OnePlus 8 Gets A+ Display Rating

OnePlus has just started on its social media posts that DisplayMate will have the highest ratings on its OnePlus 8 series phones – an independent firm that displays smartphones, among other things, and gives them a score – in precisely the same way. Just like DxOMark does cameras on phones. OnePlus says that DisplayMate gave its phone an A+ rating and set thirteen new records in its tests. This was like expected, given that OnePlus makes some costly phones these days.

OnePlus did not tell us which phone has an A+ rating. Now, you have to be a physicist, like Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory, to say to us that OnePlus is talking about the display on the OnePlus 8 Pro. is OnePlus always uses AMOLED panels sourced from Samsung, making it the best display panel in the industry. This time, they are offering a refresh rate of 120Hz, which again is nothing new on the smartphone.

OnePlus 8 Features

Note that this is reserved for the Pro model only, and if you’re willing to get the original model, you’ll have to wipe your tears as the old 90Hz Full HD+ AMOLED panel hasn’t left the affordable model yet.

Where OnePlus has added its inputs is the new MEMC technology that we usually use for inexpensive TV viewing. MEMC will convert regular frame rate materials to higher frame samples so that they use a 120Hz refresh rate. This, of course, takes a toll on the battery, but we’ll have to watch until OnePlus starts seeding the phone for review.

OnePlus 8 Price

It is entirely reasonable for OnePlus to behave like a newborn’s parents, especially when they are talking about the OnePlus 8 series. A lot of leaks and rumors have promised high specifications that look great in the sales brochure. This year, the company is projected to go premium with both models, and this means, your purse is a harder cry than before.

In a report of Business Insider, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has revealed the price of the OnePlus 8 series and stated that this series phones will not cost more than $1000, i.e., 76,400 rupees. He did not reveal the exact cost of the phones but he gave a rough idea that the phones are far cheaper than Samsung Galaxy S20.

If you are interested in these phones, keep an eye on April 14 to keep all information for you with OnePlus. If these don’t excite you, the rumor from Apple starting on April 15 will get your veins racing.
