On Saturday, Pragya Singh Thakur who is a BJP MP asked the public to chant the Hanuman Chalisa 5 times a day till 5 August. Pragya Singh Thakur believes that reciting Hanuman Chalisa will eliminate the coronavirus pandemic from the world.
On 5 August, ‘Bhoomi Pujan‘ or the ground-breaking ceremony will be held for the construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya. The PM Narendra Modi invited by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust to lay the foundation stone of a grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
The Ayodhya’s land has been a controversy over the building of Temple and Masjid. However, last year on November 9, the SC announced that the disputed site in Ayodhya belongs to Ram and announced the building of a Ram Temple by a Trust.
“Let us all of us together make a spiritual effort to wish people good health and end the coronavirus epidemic. Recite ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ five times a day at your home from July 25 to August 5,” the Bhopal MP tweeted.
She further said that the ritual to be concluded by lighting lamps on August 5 along with offering an ‘aarti’ to Lord Ram at home.
Pragya also shared a video on Twitter. In the video, she said that to curb the spread of the coronavirus in Madhya Pradesh, the BJP government there is making an effort by imposing the lockdown till 4 August.
She added that the lockdown will be over on August 4, so ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ can take place as it is on August 5. She said that the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa will end on August 5 after ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ has been performed. That day will be celebrated like Diwali, added Pragya Thakur.
“When people… Hindus from across the country recite the ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ in one voice, it will definitely work and we will be free from coronavirus…This is your prayer to Lord Ram,” said Thakur.
